Antonio Pizzonia set the pace for Williams on a rain-affected final day of testing at Silverstone.

The Brazilian, who stood in for the indisposed Nick Heidfeld in the last two races and is expected to do so again at his home race in Sao Paulo, rebounded from a gearbox problem in the morning to post a best time of 1m20.720s.

That was some three seconds slower than Fernando Alonso

That surely means he is not that bad a driver. I think he's at least much better than Sato and is as good as Klien JV NK to name but a few. Last year when he replaced RS he wasn't really far from Montoya in race conditions. That's why I think he deserves a seat as well as the other drivers I mentionned. Looks like I'm the only one to think that on this forum though
