Me Moaning About Alonso Again

Recommended Posts

Due to boredom at work I have looked up kimi's 2005 mechanical problems. I'm always saying Alonso was lucky this year, well now I have facts!

Alonso's mechanical problems:

Monaco: tyre wear

Kimi's mechanical problems:

Malaysia: tyre valve problem caused tyre to deflate on out lap after pit stop

Imola: driveshaft failure caused retirement whilst leading

Europe: vibration, we all know tyre exploded, again whilst leading

France: Engine failure caused grid penalty

Britain: Engine failure, grid penalty

Germany: Hydraulics failure causes retirement

Italy: Tyre delamination during race

Japan: Engine failure, grid penalty

So Alonso is the best driver and deserved to be champion? I don't think so!

u are entitled to ur opinion ,but i see it the other way round, one as alonso says ,many times he has been lucky with his engine blowups and i feel that if he would not have had so many retirements(caused due to quick and fragile car) then also he would not have had the same pace and won so many times ...

Whose to say Kimi doesn't over drive his cars?

Europe for example is COMPLETELY Kimi's fault.

Im also surprised you didn't put in Australia, where Kimi pushed the wrong button on his steering wheel and killed the engine, sending him to start in the pits.

Very simliar to Sato in Silverstone, with out all the baggings.

I actually prefer Kimi to Alonso btw, so I'd like to think none of the issues were Kimi's fault, but perhaps they were....

The only one that was obviously his fault. He was really unlucky in 2005.
