For both companies, technological leadership is a fundamental goal," said BMW board member Burkhard Goschel. "This partnership stands to benefit our IT, our customers and our Formula 1 team." As part of the deal, the two companies have agreed on the joint development of an open standard for the integrated operation of mobile devices in vehicles built by the BMW Group.
