Senna is of course one of the greatest drivers of all time but his driving in that video is nothing spectacular. If those were road tyres, I did not hear constant enough road squeel to lead me to believe that he was always on the limit and he did cross the limit slightly in a few corners. I would guess there was still at least a second left in that car.

it was a promo event for pete's sake, he even turned on the lights for the camera leading into the 130R. did you even notice the shoes he was wearing? Going by your remarkable perception on all things automotive did you also figure out the spark plugs were dirty and the oil was a day old?

I don't give a Sh#t what it was, I am letting the forum know that in my expert opinion, it was not a great lap. Many of the less experienced members were likely confused because it was, afterall, Senna and we have come to expect great things from him always. Equally, most of the members have never driven a sports car and never driven any car on the limit and consequently have no idea what a truly fast lap in a street stock sports car looks and sounds like. My aim, as always, is education.
