Kimi/Montoya

Recommended Posts

:lol::lol:

As I predicted when I heard the news that Montoya was going to McLaren, Kimi has already said that he is not friends with Montoya, they cross each other on the pits and just greet each other, nothing more.

Now Montoya is re-thinking about going to McLaren - his reasons:

not the car, not the Williams ascending features,not Kimi but Personal.

Now do you believe this?

Of course not, at least Kimi admitted in Spain that he is not prepared to be the 2nd driver, now Montoya must admit the same.

I think it is too late for Monty to have second thoughts about going to McLaren and anyway, where does it say you have to be best friends with your team mate. :shock:

I see another version of Prost v Senna in the Kimi Montoya pairing. Two excellent drivers with a supposedly good car. Just look at the coincidences and links with Prost and Senna

1. Kimi seems to be the Prost of this saga, cool, calm and collected and Ron's baby, whilst JPM is the Senna (not in terms of skill!!) of the piece in his aggression and win at all costs and could be Ron's baby should he do well.

2. They could well be entering an era of domination with Ferrari SEEMINGLY on the wain and if the new car is quick and reliable they could prove a formidable pairing.

3. They don't seem to be the best of friends at the moment and that r/ship could get testy if JPM comes in and starts winning.

As for JPM wanting out, I think he can't really, there's no way Ron would let him go after all the off season speculation about him and McLaren. Could be a vacancy at McLaren if JPM does stay at Williams??

It's all anyones guess, but thats F1.

i totally agree, i think it would take one helluva wad of cash to get out of a mclaren contract. if alex wurz thouight it was hard to get released, imagine how hard it would be for montoya, who could potentially be WDC this year.
