If I remeber corectly Honda anounced either at the 2005 Suzuka or China GP that they've reached the 1000 hp barrier. Ofcourse after talking about this on the Renault blog we were told that there is no standard and that every team has it's way of measuring hp output. Non the less it's imprsssive for a NA 3 ltr V10 witch doesn't use magnetic valve gears, nor exotic materials, nor exotic/rocket derived fuel like the turbos of the 1980s.
