F1-live - Pay for live coverage...

Recommended Posts

F1-Live has launched a new site, but I get the feeling they are gonna charge for their live coverage now. They have a thing called 'Premium Club' and their live page says results are updated every 10 minutes, if you want live coverage click here and clicking takes to a page about the Premium Club...

I was right about F1-live, if you want live coverage now, you have to pay.

Jordan_rule, I have heard that Formula1.com has great live timing so I will check it out for the Malaysian GP.

its apparently sent straight from the track to a database and then loaded onto ur screen.

thats pretty impressive. Thats about as live as it can get.

yep, f1-live live coverage going pay is lame.

but as j_rule said, the formula1.com coverage is awesome. it a bit like the timing screens they have on the pit walls, and you can get fastest sector times and speed trap readings as well.

Don't watch F1 on the net anymore cos for me there's no point with JV out, but last season I used formula1.com for every sessions and used f1-live and f1central.net for commentary. I was on the net and had a look for aust friday practice and like everyone was peeved off with f1-live. Now you have to pay, but don't worry, they're always lagging by 5 mins or so. formula1.com is the best for live timing as it's really live!!! As for f1-live, talk about advertising, it's full of it, and those annoying flashy ads which give u the sh!ts!! They've improved formula1.com, as taku said, they now have temperature, speed traps, fastest sector times, wind direction...the list goes on, it's much better than last year. Now all they need is commentary for every session rather than just quali and race as a few things do happen in practice ie. Button's massive shunt at Monaco on Sat morning last year...had to use f1-live to see how he was.
