F1 - or should it be called Ferrari Formula !!

Recommended Posts

Michael is so used to winning and winning easily, that I think he will quit when the wins are harder to come by and not before.

I don

well thanks for the feed back, good to see people read the articles.

As for SHUMI, whether he stays or not is beside the question, R.B. is ALMOST and sometimes quicker ( but he normally gets the BAD breaks during pit stops) so IMO any worthy driver could, and would be, a winner in the current Ferrari at this point in time.

It's the CAR, and the Team , that are so far ahead of the rest as I see it

Rubens is a competent driver and quick – he’s especially good at overtaking. I’m pretty sure that the only way Schumacher will retire before 2006 is if Rubens outpaces him...

Ferrari, ...Ho Hum.

Even the people who are genuine fans (the people in these forums) couldn't give a toss about Ferrari or Michael or Rubens. When you know the outcome, why get excited.

Ferrari,....who cares. Only the one day dilletantes who wouldn't know their arse from their elbow when it comes to car RACING.

We know where the action is! In the midfield! Where the REAL drivers drive. Where domination comes through force of will and superior skill, not a budget so limitless you can buy victory with a monkey at the wheel.

Almost without fail, when M$ has had to FIGHT through the pack, he's folded under pressure. Anyone can CLAIM to be the best when they never have to prove it.

We need a new format: Send the Ferraris out by themselves for an hour on Thursday, give em the silverware and send them home. Then we can get on with the real weekend RACING for second.

here is a rather far out way fo getting the Ferrari's back a bit. Reverse the Quli grid and then if a driver goes faster than there Quli time then thay get a drive threw pentaly. kind of like the handycap thay have in drag cars

Ferrari is not going to agree to any revision of the present F1 system unless it benefits them. The only way that we will get close racing is by the natural development of Williams, BAR, Renault, McLaren etc.

I have always thought a rverse grid may spicen up F1, but I vould never work out how to get around drivers sand bagging in Qualifying, but that is a good idea.

However, i think that the penalty only come in if a driver goes say 5% faster than their qualifying time.

Still need to consider what happens to drivers who go off during qualifying and set a slow time, what happens to them when they go fatser during the race?? hmmm :?:

LMFAO at Rodders but i must admit , i have to spend some time there to working out what you say sometimes WEBBER ... lol .

As i said before , let Ferrari enjoy it while they are there , it cant last forever . Mclaren dominated a while back for a few seasons and were untouchable , now look where they are .

As much as it p**ses me off to go through the torture every couple of weeks , its got to come to an end so i suggest we all bear it and leave the rules as they are cause i dont want Ferrari to be the team that Formula 1 had to slow down or handicap cause well never hear the end of it as it will then be written in the History books forever .

Just bear with it .
