F1 - or should it be called Ferrari Formula !!

Recommended Posts

OR maybe Formula Ferrari !!!!!

well looks like we are in for another BORING ( geez I seem to be repeating myself) season.

Ferrari 1,2 MS 30 points out of a possible 30 !!!

All I can say is thank god the TV camera's were aimed at the back runners for most of the time.

yeah im glad they aren't just showing ferrari all day. Like they used too do. Klien was looking good almost getting past kimi 3 times before kim's engine died on him...

Webber made a few passes in the firs few laps. Alonso did well along with sato and button. It was a great race if u forget ferrari were in it.

I think that was because kimi's car is lousy.....i doubt klien has much chance to do that if the mclaren's engines are good

I have to say....jaguar's looking good...another few years and they'll be up against ferrari

Yes and this fact that their sponsors are not getting the TV coverage they expect will worry Ferrari...

Thats a very good point Juany but they get their car pictured in every frikkin magazine day after race and when Shuey does that stupid little jump after every win on the podium it reveals every sponsor stuck to his suit and thats the photo that always in the papers so they do get their advertising .

On that note , check him out after every race win , its the stupid little jump , stands serious for a minute cause he must and then starts looking down at his team , starts winking at one or 2 of them ( or Bernie Ecclestone , we never know ) , then hell start giving the thumb to someone else and winking again . I tell my wife the moves a few seconds before he does them and she p**ses herself every time , its getting as boring as his wins .

thts the problem with total domination but we cant do anything about it apart from waiting and waiting... their domination or his (MS) domination will come to an end someday...... so all we have to do is bore ourself and wait it out till someone gives them a challenge no not challenge but till someone finally beats them

Ferrari’s dominance on a variety of tracks is worrying. However, despite their location, all the races so far have not been particularly hot, or at least as hot as was expected. Add to that the fact that Bahrain had a slightly dirty track surface (which favours Ferrari and Bridgestone) and the fact that at all the races apart from Australia, the gap between Ferrari and the leading Non-Ferrari cars hasn’t been that big and things aren’t looking so bad. Hopefully the racing will become more intense and Bridgestone tyres slower as we enter the European summer.

Im past all the heat , tyres , politics and all general excuses we can come up with in hope that other teams may take a win , ive just accepted yet again this year that the only way any other team can win a race this year is if Shuey stuffs up somewhere along the lines . ( and i dont want him to stuff up as then first place would have been gifted )

No more living in hope with me on practice sessions etc as the last 3 results speak for themselves .

I have now learnt to not bother with the first place guy and instead pretend hes not there and watch the race from position 2 ( well maybee 3 ) and consider the race grid from there as i must admit , theres allot of competition this year and it is quiet exciting .

Oh well thats my speil so im sure to have allot of replys to my either Stupid comments or Comments that people agree with but at the end of the day , we can come up with as many excuses as we want , these are not issues Ferrari now or for the next few years i believe .

Should M.SCHum. stuff up then the wins are not gifted...because I think many of M.SCHum.'s receiving wins are gifted now!. Rubens would then get payback.

I do not mind one Team winning all the Time, its "How" the Team conducts their contrived race setup. Having Rubens pull over is sooo B.S. ...that it devalues any greatness there maybe in the other driver.

The real problems stem from the FIA and their non-incentive rewarding of points and non-penalizing of poor performances "All-round" in and throughout the races. Its like How for so many years we only see what they want you to see and then they magnify it to boot.

I want to see car battles ,passing attempts of various kinds ,on board camera coverage freely not contrived gated forced thinking B*ull Cr*p.

You wonder why the Fans are leaving ...heck not just leaving ..not even showing up ...now prices for European GP race are slashed 50%

Again the minimumlist effort to gain the maxiumest results in what ? CASH ! ...racing ...where's that? (on your gaming console :? )

I do not buy into Ferrari or its products ,nor do I buy into F1 ,there is not much in it butt the crumbs...FIA have bungled the whole World racing concept and it has to die so the mentality of FIA dies with it ....then people might get really racing again ...(Ferrari may still be at the top ...but we get the full meal deal of the highest deluxe version possible)

What a sad state F1 is in. More should be done to improve the spectacle…

IMO the only way SHUMI WONT win a race is if he misses his private plane to the circuit :!: :!:

Ferrari does have an impressive lead in both championships but it’s not all over yet. If they win the next two GPs though I will have to say that it will be very unlikely that anyone will beat them this year, after all Ferrari are incredibly quick on a variety of tracks and have almost bullet-proof reliability.

yeah so right Alistair, and so what would be the need to WATCH this farce !!!

Like why should I bother to stay up late at night or record the race to watch next early mouring, as I do , if Shumi will win it !! not a hell of a lot of PUBLIC interest I suspect.. can only be BAD for the sport, so well BERNIE , check out all this stuff mate, you may loose Zillions on a farce called F1

But I guess he can afford it anyway :-(

Listen all , lets just ride the Shuey thing out for the next year or so as id rather cry for a few years ( and believe me , thats what i do every 2 weeks cause F1 just s##ts me to tears at the moment ) than have to hear Ferrari fans saying " Ferrari were so dominant that the sport had to handicap them for others to win . Thats how good we are / were " .

If Ferrari ever get handicapped or put into positions to bring them down from a higher organiser in the F1 game , we will never hear the end of how Dominant they were and it will always be something for them to go back to so as i said before , lets just bear it and let it go for a while , he cant race forever .

Infact i think hes very close to retirement as everyones been on his back about it and he just shrugs it off but i think that deep down , he has thought about it but wants to build himself up as having fun etc so that when he makes the announcment it will come as a shock , not an event that was expected as media speculated so its coming soon .

He risks his life every time he gets in that car and i think hes now realised he has accomplished everything and has just stood back and realised that he has a family and now that he has no pressure from records or F1 life in general , its time to sit back and enjoy his kids before he wonders how they grew up on him so quickly .

I will be very surprised if Michael retires earlier than his contract keeps him at Ferrari. He may even extend his stay at Ferrari – he has hinted at it in the past.

Michael is so used to winning and winning easily, that I think he will quit when the wins are harder to come by and not before.

I don’t agree. I think he’ll only retire when he feels he is no longer quick enough – probably when his teammates outpace him. He isn’t unaccustomed to hard fighting – 1996, 1997, 1998 and 2003 come to mind.
