Bernie simply has too much money for one person and should find better uses for it than mortgage speculation. Why doesn’t he invest in Jordan and Minardi? Or if this would arise concerns about favouritism, why doesn’t he at least create a survival fund, as was suggested some time back, to help the poorer teams and thus improve F1? If the poorer teams didn’t need to worry about money so much we would have less pay-drivers and a closer grid.

Is this a recent development? There was talk of Bernie investing in Minardi a while back but it turned out that he had only verbally backed Minardi, giving the impression that he had helped them financially, but in actuality he hadn’t. It sparked off a further row between the two with Bernie calling Stoddard a beggar…I didn’t think Bernie had any stake in the Minardi F1 Team...

If Bernie wanted to he could eradicate a few major diseases, solve world hunger and probably have enough left over to buy CART.

Well at least Roman Abramovich is making football more interesting and competitive. He’s invested lots of money into Chelsea FC and created a good team – if only they could get a world-class striker to partner Hernan Crespo they would be real a threat. Amjay what did you think of Portsmouth beating Man United? United are hopeless now…

Every week there are multiple rumours that Roman Abramovich is planning to buy new players or managers…last time I checked Chelsea were after Ronaldinho.

I've got two words which sum up our problems, Wes Brown. He has to be one of the worst defenders ever. Sir Fergie screwed up big time by not signing a defender in January and we're paying the price. With Ruud only now coming back from injury and Scholes suspended for 3 games, it's gonna be tough.

you think its gonna be tough for man u? what about leeds mate?

yeah!! What's happening there?? It's not like they've got a crap team, they have a few really good players, Smith, Johnson, Viduka etc but they're just not playing well. I think they made a huge error getting rid of O'Leary as he's proven his class by what he's done at Villa. You a Leeds fan taku?? You think they can stay up?? I think going by the way they played against Arsenal, then they're down, but I hope i'm wrong.
