Crowd noise?  Dale Junior.  Enough said. :P

The 7.7 number seems to have been updated.  At 36,500,000 viewers (no idea the rating), it was the most-watched race ever aired on FOX since they took over in 2001.  Probably the most-watched race in American television history.

I still have a headache from last night.  So jealous of the guys I know who went...the stories they have.  They should just cancel the Indy 500, 24 Heures du Mans, Monaco Grand Prix, etc.  This was the race to end all races (and as a race itself, it wasn't that good).

I have to admit, watching some of the action this week has had an impact on me. I know what you've said before about you not really liking Daytona, etc, but I've really enjoyed what I've seen over the past week. It has been new and exciting.

Certainly I think I'm over my snobby view of NASCAR. Maybe this year will be the year that I properly become a fan and understand NASCAR. :P

Wrongly titled, here is Dale Earnhardt, Jr. racing Brad Keselowski to the restroom last night.

Hehehe....imagine that ever happening in Formula One?...not likely...
