Just in from pitpass.com. They spies reckon Honda are not a happy bunch after JB ditched BAR for Williams. They also reckon DR is in for trouble and his future is anything but certain.

And I will quote their last line

Well, I did'nt think Craig would get sacked in the first place especially after he signed up Geoff Willis, but they sacked him and found DR did'nt they. Maybe somebody Honda is fielding perhaps :!:

could there possibly be another japanese team boss in f1 to bring the fight between honda & japan out in the very open??

however its unlikely honda would have that much clout to remove dr and insert their own boss. bringing someone over from the US didnt work with jaguar either. no obvious high-profile replacement comes to mind.

i think dr is safe, its his only noticable mistake so far (albeit a very large and noticeable one)...

if this is true, it does explain why JV is keen to get back to BAR, or maybe he's so desperate he'll live with DR's antics, I don't know. If DR does get the boot, I really don't care who it is, just so long as they know what they're doing and are capable of doing a competent job. Highly doubt CP would get the nod to do it, however it would give him a chance to apply what he has learned since and it must be remembered, his final act as boss was signing Willis and it was Pollock who brought Honda back to F1 after their absence.....
