Well it seems Jag will be around after all if the stories today are true of Red Bull buying them. But that meanss we are gonna see the awfull Klein again. But DC, your fortunes may have changed. You have more chance of a seat there than at Williams.

I also heard Red Bull may pull the sponsorship from Sauber next year. That sucks. I hope they honor their agreement and give Sauber 1 year to find another major sponsor. Red Bull are gonna be at the back of the grid anyways, so they might want to think about sticking with Sauber a bit longer as they will no doubt be top 8s again in 2005.

looks like its a done deal. I can see a DC/Liuzzi combo here. A mix of experience and youth. Liuzzi looks like the real deal so hopefully he'll get a chance to drive F1. I also read they'll use Cosworth engines for next year then change for '06. As for Red Bull, that's bad news for Sauber if that's the case, hopefully there will be another sponsor ready to take their place if needed.

Ah, 10 teams on the grid,finally. DC could stay in F1, but you never know what the "crazy paddock" thinks half the time.

I think DC has more chance of the RB seat than he does at Williams. Luizzi will get his chance soon enough, but I don't think RB will be it for him. I wonder what engine RB will use in 2006? Could be quite interesting. Toyota will run in a Jordan, Ferrari in a Sauber. Hmm that leaves BMW and Mercedes for RB. Who knows where this could go.

seing that the management stays the same, i think dc has got a good shot at red bull. the other seat would have to be a toss-up between ck and liuzzi, and i think liuzzi will be given the nod, but you can't discount matesiczhs (spelling?)comments recently that it "makes sense" for ck to have a second season. so is it ck/liuzzi, liuzzi/dc, or dc/liuzzi or the unlikely but not impossible red bull line-up of ck/liuzzi.

my optimal outcome would be:

williams: davidson & webber with heidfeld & pizzonia testing.

red bull: liuzzi & dc with ck testing. (if they could gamble on ck last year surely they can gamble on liuzzi)

jordan: briscoe & sebastian bourdais

minardi: show me the money!

whatever happens, 10 teams next year is great news!
