Honda NEEDS to produce something after,
the Disaster and loss of face (BIG thing in Japan) it made of the Mclaren Honda project

Yes, Honda did not succeed with McLaren but they did not necessarily lost face, you don't lose face in Japan by trying honestly. 

You lose face when you commit bad thing i.e cheating, bribing and the likes. 

Honda is now looking at their Vindication. Hopefully coming soon with RBR and TR next year.

This weekend is a test on how much they have progressed since the start of this season.

Anyways I am so looking for this race as we have 3 day weekend in Japan - town fiestas, beers and F1, not a bad weekend to spend !

A bonus is that the weather is looking favorable at the moment - fingers crossed

Merc  seem to be  the ONLY PU that HAVE sussed THIS era.
Though Ferrari, taking it to them,  with Renault having something - NOT something with speed though.
Perfect opportunity for Cosworth to return                                                                          .
