And to be honest we did get some good racing action in 2022, I'm hoping 2023 will be even better. Max was a class apart in 2022, no questions he will be the guy to beat this year as well. It will take some extraordinary effort from someone to beat him to the championship.

I respectfully DISAGREE Alonso WILL B the guy 2 beat in 2023 U R lookin at it WRONG - The guy 2 beat IS NOT the current champion - that IS expected. The midfield IS where the action IS. The REAL guy 2 beat- front runnin WORKS teams R EXPECTED 2 perform. It is NOT a challenge. The guy 2 beat COMES from midfield. HAS 2 show skill & PERFORM on track. Race-in race-out. That guy IS Alonso. NOT expected 2 win, but WILL perform.

Well I hope that's right, coz everyone would like to see a top class championship with Alonso in the mix,,, and to maybe even win it. The guy deserved a front row car, and he seems to be in one at the moment. At least Alonso is practically looking at the possibilities and not getting over confident about the hype that has been put out.. Alonso interview after P2 Also... Speculative Data After P2 We are still to get a clear picture of where the grid stands. I think after Azerbaijan GP we will should have a clear picture of the relative order of the grid. blackpebel 0 Report post Posted March 8 I've said this before last year, and I'm gonna say this again this year... I respect the power rankings that F1 has come up with... It gives a fair view of the heroism shown by drivers ... something that could be missed out due to the differences in the cars. Here is the update after the first race: https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article.power-rankings-who-starts-the-year-on-top-after-the-season-opening-bahrain.dMzYyD9VIDTUhz6GVdma1.html

blackpebel 0 Report post Posted Thursday at 07:54 AM I agree, His focus and his spatial awareness of everything happening around him in a race is commendable. Hill identifies trait that separates Alonso from other f1 drivers
