Max Verstappen takes world title

Recommended Posts

By coming SECOND 2 the MCLAREN of Oscar Piastri, who wins Qatar GP sprint race.
Max will NOT like that, even though he won the world title -  Mclaren WON the race.

I don't think Max cares. Max is about Max, because Red Bull is all about Max.

Max is about Max
In the SAME way as Vettel were about Vettel when he had the fastest car.
Get lap records, put name in the record books because it will NOT last.
Where IS Vettel now - fallen off the cliff.  Got his name in the record books
That IS what counts.  Tried 2 bring glory, and establish the Aston Martin name IN F1.
Vettel PUT the Red Bull name IN the record books.
Verstappen right place at the right time.

Some season Max has had. He is clearly the most perfect driver I have ever seen; he's fast, he's shrewd, and he's ruthless. With the number of wins he's had, he's taken it to another level...

That's a pretty sweeping statement. Put Verstappen into HAAS and HE is a "has been" driver. Or in Alpha Tauri. Same thing. F1 is all about cars. I guarantee - you put Vettel or Kubica in that RedBull and they will have a good shot at the championship. Not to take anything from Max, who IS a phenomenal driver. But look at Hamilton. Or Russell, who was suppoosed to be the next great thing in the British racing. Frankly, Russell to me is a has-been..
