ecapdeville 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2005 Silvermachine, I think the game is made for PlayStation not for PC...Hey in Mexico we love F1 but no F1 games either!... Its PAL or NTSC? Is it a version for Xbox or Gamecube? Maybe some european guys could buy it for me and send it here..of course I will pay...
Jenson_Rules 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2005 Typical, why is all the best racing games released on PS2 and not Xbox, The XBox is soo much better hence why i invested in one, but they decide to go with s##tstation2. Any news of a possible new F1 game on the Xbox?
Sato 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2005 ahhh, an Xbox lover....you do realise the oh so great Xbox was released quite some time after the PS2? i suspect the PS3 will be much better then the Xbox or the Xbox 2 if they are released at simliar times. As for this only being on PS2, its been like that for some time as sony invested in it back when the old PSX was brought out and its been like that since, i think its great. And with pitstops, i wish you could do the whole thing yourself, IE slow down, switch on the limiter stop as close to the marks as possible change gear, and go at the right time etc. I've never played a game where you do quite all that which really is a shame as i think it'd be a great thing to do! Jenson_Rules 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2005 PS2's are only more popular because they are alot more commercial, and they arnt as good as XBox's other than the fact they get the best games, which is really irritating! I may invest in a PS3 or whatever they will be called when they come out so i can actually play racing games, but i still prefer my xbox!
Kaciaj 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2005 Anyone knows the release date?!?!?

Sato 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2005 I have all 3 current generation consoles, aswell as my PC obviously. I was thinking of creating an Xbox game actually, just for abit of fun. @ Ecap Gp3 was better for editing purposes, IE making your own tracks, and much easier to create your own car. Also i do not know that GP4 is more realistic, if you have a steering wheel perhaps, but on keyboard, having to have the basic steering help is quite unrealistic. I have owned one or two PS1 F1 games and I was really dissapointed with them, the IA is trashy, I love the sense of reality given in GP4, and now that I have the PC to put all the detail on, the FF wheel, etc ...its a dream come true. Sato 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2005 Lucky you, GP4 barely runs for me with the graphics and fram rate set pretty low, which really sucks.
Senna 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2005 Oh senna, I think we have the same debility for videogames, I too bought the cube for Mario, and the Xbox for other games, specially sports, but this F1 news about no F1 games in Xbox makes me think in the possibility of buying a Pstation, but I think I will wait for the PS3...I dont know...I dont like arcadish F1 games I rather drive F1 simulators like Grandprix 4. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The next generation of consoles are expected in 2006, although nothing has been confirmed yet. The Studio Liverpool games have arcade and simulation settings
