Sorry Sato fans, but it's a weird case of art imitating life
Jenson_Rules 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2005 hahahahahaha thats well funny! I may invest in a very cheap PS2 from ebay, or just wait for this PS3 or whatever! Grand Theft Auto is better on XBOX though, and san andreas is being released soon on xbox so that will be great!

Taku 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2005 interesting. i've been a huge gran turismo fan, but never got into the f1 games from psx onwards. i always felt the physics felt wrong and teh graphics crappy. when playing them back-to-back with gt2 & 3 they just felt like plain wrong. i haven't tried f1 04 and you've all seemed to compliment that version. might see if 05's out in aus and give it a go. especially if it's got online capability

ecapdeville 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2005 You lucky guys, those games never go out here, I think I will wait for another PC simulation...
Sato 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2005 the 2004 version deffinatley was a step up compared to any other console F1 games i had played before, much more realistic feel to it, career mode added quite a bit of fun to it, the graphics looked abit better then i had recalled any other F1 games aswell, i just hope the 2005 version is as good as it sounds! Jenson_Rules 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2005 PC games are really good, im a big fan of roller coaster tycoom, thats fun, especially when u ope the ride without testing and killing the people because u gave a powered launch too much speed! lol. Im evil like that u see! lol Death and destruction is great! lol. I wanted a PS2 because i wanted the F1 games but overall although PS2 get the pick of the games first, the Xbox is a much better console, and has a massive built in hard drive that never runs out of space, the PS2 needs u to buy loadsa stuff for it extra! Sato 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2005 not really...Xbox makes you buy a remote to watch Dvd's you can watch them without that on a PS2. The only real ad on you need to buy that u don't on Xbox is a memory card.
Jenson_Rules 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2005 yeah well i have a dvd player in my room anyway so thats not needed!!!

I have never compared side by side the PS2 with the XBOX, but since I own the microsoft game box, I think is one of the best machines I have ever had. Yesterday I installed the 2002 season in Gp4, at last I
Sato 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2005 Memory cards can be a good thing if you go over to friend places, and play games, if you have saved your game with things unlocked etc you might want to use over there GP4 is truly a great game, i had 2004 installed carset etc installed, but it just runs too poorly on this PC so i didn't play it much. 5P33D3V1L 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2005 Which was the last game with a safety car in it? Was it Formula one 99 on the PSOne cos that was one of my favourite F1 games of all time.
5P33D3V1L 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2005 Not having a memory card sounds great but what happens if you want to show your mate how far you are on a game and when u go round his house you cant show him you got to bring the whole machine with ya thats a minus. Jenson_Rules 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2005 to be hoenst, i dont go to mates hosues to play on games consoles, i have an x box for when i get seriously bored and its fun, but me and my mate crease up madly while playing robot wars extreme, in the mars level, i dunno why its just soo funny! Me and my mates are much keener on going out and stuff insead of sitting in front of a tv screen. During the sumer especially we go to the beach practically everyday. Playing computer games when its nice weather isnt good for you!
Sato 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2005 going to the beach all the time will give you cancer, playing console games will give you good eye and hand co-ordination. I know which is best for me Though i haven't played any of my consoles for a few weeks now.
