Thats a pity about Chelsea and Liverpool. Hopefully they will both get through anyhow. JM has been in trouble again for complaining about their 2nd group seeding but he surely has a point this time? Whatever formula they use hasn't worked very well in this instance.

Chelsea must surely be one of the favourites. They could easily win the whole competition. Their depth of squad is mightily impressive and they have an abundance of world-class players which they have been putting to good use in the domestic league. Their spending power is unparalleled and new signings Wright-Philips and Essien look very promising although I still have my doubts about Drogba and the Chelsea strikers in general although Hernan Crespo has been brought back to strengthen that department.

Its just proof of the fact that money isnt everything. imo opinion they often buy more players than they need to and pay more than they should.

Barcelona will be strong contenders again this year. They lost 3 of their best players early in the season and all return fully fit. Being a fan of Man Utd I'm pretty happy we avoided one of the so called 'big teams', although I have no doubts that all three clubs in our group will be tough.

Very interesting indeed.

looks like Manchester United and Arsenal have a reletively easy draw. I think that all 4 English teams should go through.

i will, but liverpool WILL beat Chelsea

I seriously doubt it. They were somewhat fortunate to beat Chelsea in the Champions League and this year the London club has strengthened their squad considerably. I can see only one victor if Chelsea play as I
