I closed it, why? because it had turned sour and totaly unrelated to the subject at hand, Button. If you want to start a p**sing match over world politics, go somewhere else this is a F1 site. Take the chips off of your shoulders all of you, the world is a different place now than 60-65 years ago etc. Any questions or complaints? i'm an e-mail away

I have a complaint, i was enjoying that discussion/argument we were all having, and it wasn't causing offence really as we were just arguing with eachother, and i was greatly enjoying it!

pumpdoc, I think you should review the reasons for closing that thread, as I think you'll find closing is unjustified as it doesn't contravene any of the moderator rules. Please ensure our right to post what we want within the regulations isn't taken away again. Thanks

I have to say that i disagree with your reasoning. Other moderators didnt have a problem with the thread. I think you should reconsider and unlock the thread.

Quite frankly, Pumpdoc, I don't care whether you locked the thread or not. It's not the end of the world, but it was an interesting discussion and although feelings were running high occasionally I don't think any of us were offensive or offended. What irks me, however, is that you did not have the common courtesy to inform the members of your decision, and that it took another thread to prompt you into giving your reasons. I can only assume that you had a bad day.
