since when were there? Whilst I'm a critic of his on-track antics, most of what he says isn't really that 'whack' compared to some of his counterparts in terms of their predictions or boasts. In interviews here, Webber is the first to say that he doesn't understand the hype as he 'has done nothing in F1', which are his words.

Button is also one of the worst. He often said throughout his career that his car is going to do well. After BAR completed their ban this year i remember Button saying that his car will be fast, but it never was, he also talked the car up alot before the 2005 season. I admitt DC did over talk his chances but since he left McLaren he hasnt done that, after Melbourne 2005 when he finished 4th i remember him saying that he was very pleased with the result but the RB1 wont be that good most of the time.

I saw an interview with him prior to the Aust GP. That's when he said he was shocked at the hype he got down here as 'he had achieved nothing'. Hence, he isn't using it as an excuse to downplay poor results.
