Stub-o-matic 0 Report post Posted June 28, 2006 I, unfortunately had a hard-drive crash and lost a bunch of my mp3's. Is it possible to extract these from the iPod I have them on? I suspect that I am screwed...and not in a good way. Thanks for the assistance.

Yeah get Itunes or whatever software you had before the hard drive went kaput, should be possible to download them from the ipod. In Itunes you can do this by going to FILE > IMPORT and choosing your Ipod as an import source. Of course failing all else, email Apple and explain you had a Hard Drive fault before you had a chance to back up, and they might let you download them again (worked for me but only once)
