Fisichela wants to replace Montoya.

Recommended Posts

 Fisi has been approached in relation to is future plans for 2005. Although he has signed a contract for 2 years, the same includes de possibility of leaving earlier if a good offer appears.

He would love to drive for Ferrari for 2005, but as this is highly unlikely, he said he would love to replace Montoya at Williams.

Can this happen?

In formula 1 everything is possible (except for DC not stating that this year will be his year)

Personally i want to see Webber there.

i too would like to replace montoya :D

but i think they'd pick webber over fisi as webber is younger and they could mould him into whatever they want, over the years.

well Barrichello has just inked a two year deal with Ferrari, so unless Schuey does pull the pin sometime this year, Fisi's Ferrari option wont be until 2006, just when his Sauber contract expires....

Would rather se Webber @ Williams.

No matter what Fisi says, he wants to be in a Ferrari. As an Italian there is no greater honour as a racing driver. But we'll see...

I think Williams will hire Nelson Piquet or Nico Rosberg maybe both if Ralf

goes to Toyota, poor Fisichella will probably never drive for Ferrari,

when they have renew the contract with Rubens Barrichello

and he will be a Ferrari driver for another two years :)

Williams will not have two debut drivers at the same time, definatly not good practice for a front running team. So expect one of 2004's drivers to be there. My choice would be McNish to sit in a Jordan this year and in the Williams next.

That'd be interesting, but you know if Fisi is to succeed I hope he does it with a team like Sauber, and brings them up. I don't know, honestly, if the small man is capable of doing it, but it would be more fun to see him succeed with a mid-field team as he has raced in those all throughout his career.

Fisi is alil too old to get a team from midfeild to top..... but sauber would be the easiest team to do it with, with there f2003ga and ferrari 2004 engines.

How does it happen that drivers with Fisi's talent never get the chance of driving for a top team?

It really says something about the sport now...
