yea there is to many AFL fans in melborune. i cant watch more than 1 game of AFL a year

ok, i spent $1,300 aussie all up. that's airfare, accomodation, food, drink and rental car for 3days. didn't buy any merchandise (cos th bar stuff sucked and all you can buy is red, red, red ) which would have jacked that to $2,000.

only a general admission day-pass on sunday. defo fork out for a grand stand set if you go. it was a nightmare trying to find a good spot, although we found a couple.

highlight was standing at the chicane where fisi took heidfeld(?) or one of the jordans. go fisico!!!

those that were completely on it around that chicane that i noticed were alonso, webber, michael, reubens, jpm and dc. fisi was just smooth smooth smooth..

Excellent! I now have a benchmark to aim for with my next years trip. any idea how much cheaper it is to hire scooters rather than a car? gotta rock round to the Casino, cruising in on a scooter, tux and all.

haha ! that would be cool. esp. if you could park it at the race you could skip the insane crowds tryin to catch a cab, bus or tram after the race
