People don't make fansites to make money. Go look at Kati's site if you want to know whata fansite is. This is trash, a pathetic attempt to cash in, and this thread is spam. Go host your site on a free service for a start if you're genuinely interested in making a fansite, remember it's unlikely if you'll ever make nay money off it.

Ive got a job you spanner!! I will be spending a few hours on it in the next couple of weeks but will keep the adverts on there etc! Kati's site is FANtasic!! Really good, but im sure being able to make summin like that takes time!!

Actually I believe a fansite is just supposed to reunite someone's fans and all that thing, and I don't like the advert stuff as well. I understand many websites have to use this stuff to get money to survive because it's just damn difficult to find free space to begin it (if you don't have everything ready yet). I just keep the google banner because that's te free host condition to keep it, but I would love to take it out as well, because not only it bores the visitors but also makes the website uglier. Also, if you use a fansite to get money you can easily get sued by the 'idol' in question, because you're using his name to make money. That's y I'm completely against banners/fanclubs with membership fee/online stores in my website. But it certainly costs me money because of the domain fee :/ But I happily pay it for Nick, he deserves it

Anyways, if that's his first attempt to make a fansite, he'll surely learn more stuff on his way, and the do's and don'ts of it. But I just can't say I'm against someone who's trying to make a fansite for it's idol (I'm assuming you did it because you really support Hamilton, and not only for the money)

I dont just think he's me "idol" at the moment but britians!!! So yes im a huge fan! As for the ads i try to recoup expenses but am thinking of mabye taking them off but ill be making a whole new site and make it better!!

That's great. Maybe you should've made all website project and content, before buying the domain. That would've made things much cheaper for you.

I just had a look at your fansite Katy, and I have to say, it's the best I've seen! Beautifuly presented and well balanced with plenty of content for NH's fans. I hope NH's management or the man himself has visited and given you a hearty tick of approval, as you definitely deserve it.

And on a side note, I like the lack of ads on Katy's site too. I wish TF1 didn't have the ads for online dating with half naked girls on the side of the home page. Now I have to keep the browswer minimised at work. Definitely NOT work related!

About Nick seeing it, I don't know, but I think he did. I 'spoke' to his brother in some emails and he said he liked it, so I think I should trust him
