BAR gives Sato a deadline to improve...

Recommended Posts

Indeed as I have often said, Sato’s inability to match Jenson’s pace will hurt BAR in the World Constructor’s Championship battle with Ferrari, Williams and Renault. I have absolutely no doubt that had the 1997 World Champion partnered Jenson at Imola, BAR would have had a double podium finish and would have done a lot better at all the other races too.

sato went from 7th to 4th at the start, getting in front of ralf when ralf tried to go around his teammate on the grass.

he then struggled with gearbox problems before the engine gave in to those same problems

ya sato did very well to get up to 4th at the start but i dunno how he got pushed behind..... i dun remember anyone overtaking him... was it at pits? ... anyway if not for the engine blow up he would have got 8th place.... and for an honda engine (which has been very reliable) to blow up it could only mean tht sato was driving very hard and pushed the car as much as it could go ....

If he was pushing very hard why was he absolutely nowhere near Button?
