My wife and I are going to be travelling to England from the U.S. to attend the F1 race at Silverstone.
We each have a pair of headphones we take to races so we can listen to lap-by-lap race coverage on a radio. Is there radio coverage of the Silverstone race? If so, what radio station provides the coverage?
Thanks for your help.

Out of memory, I believe Radio Silverstone provide commentary all weekend long that you can pick up when you're at the circuit. Recall it being 87.7FM, but there's normally a lot of signs around saying how to pick it up anyway.
Hope it helps, and enjoy it.

Thank you for the information. I'm sure hearing commentary over the radio will add to our enjoyment of the practice, qualifications, and race.

Pack an umbrella and a pair of wellies. You're in England, you're almost certain to get rained on at some point during your time here

Excuse me! The two years I went to the British GP it was wall to wall sun both times! So there.
No, good advice. Go prepared for all weathers. I don't think I experienced the normality for Brit GP weekend.

You can also hear commentary from BBC's 'Five Live' station. This provides coverage on all sessions (including practice on Friday).
Of course, I will be sipping champagne in the Paddock Club and have access to the full BBC coverage on a massive screen in my suite. So if you need tyo know what's going on, I'll be above McLaren's garage, just shout and I'll give you an overview from my balcony (if I'm not too drunk).
Life's a bittch.

Listening to MSTRKRFT - Fist of God

Music connects people through the unspoken appreciation of something that sounds right. Something that taps into the deepest corners of your soul, making you feel alive. When someone else gets it too and you know they do, it feels beautiful.
"To be brutal and honest I don't have a thin skin and others who whine over every little thing will not curry favour. I'm just going to try to keep this place fun, as it has been for all of these years." Pumpdoc, 8th Decemeber 2010.

I never understood the point of Paddock Club. It seems for most people you pay an awful lot of money to watch the race...on a television. Can't you do that from home? Bet it'll be a lot cheaper!
I thought the whole point of going to a race was to be trackside, be in the grandstand, and be a part of the crowd? At least for me, it is. Only time I'm happy to be a part of a crowd...
No, I'm just jealous and to each their own. Enjoy it, both of you.
