Chico had to pass button two times because button was to slow and Chico had another driver coming behind. He did pass button, amongst others, at extremely high speed where he could do it, did not desobey any team order and finished strong. I beleive he has got the respect of other drivers already.

Well, I guess time will tell if this was a fluke of if he is meant for greater things. I know button is good, but Chico showed some moves there which I can't ignore as signs of a possible very bright future.

It was good to see Chico having more cohones.... however he came close to disaster as on one of his moves, his and Button's tyres almost touched tread to tread and that is a guaranteed car launcher. He was lucky and got away with it. So, yes Chico show more aggression, but measured aggression - not bonehead "there's a gap and I'm gonna go for it" as there is only one outcome...

Vettel was great on this one, flawless driving once again. Webber is still stuck. Lotus has a great car and I am glad Romain finally realised if he crashes into the other cars, he doesn't get points for it. About Perez I do see the situation. Everybody kept talking about how crappy he has been in the last couple of races and how Button would dominate, and he was criticised by pretty much everyone about how he had to be more aggressive. Well, he was.

Then I think about all the drivers who got sacked for driving into their teammates. Don't think it'd be the case with all the money he brings, though.

My reply was a little bit tongue in cheek. Not to worry about disagreeing.

I think Perez was right to race Button hard, just that he could have been more precise (i.e. not making contact). Not a huge issue but something he himself accepted. Like I said, fun to see and he needed to assert himself. I always used to think he had a bright future, I'm sort of less convinced that he can be a top driver these days, though I hope he can be. I do think he can be a strong driver, at least, and hope he keeps charging hard, but it's better for him if he does it without contact.
