Trulli on pole in Monaco?

Recommended Posts

i believe he qualified on the front row there a few years back in the jordan. he knows the track well and i hope he can do it. but the way the renaults are starting, all he'll need is the second row..

Renault really have every reason to go a tad light and go for the pole and Trulli mght be seeing this as the big opportunity to get some promo in on his recognition as a driver .

I think it may be the best way to hold back the Ferrrari''s to bide Aloseone some time to pace himself into the lead ...

I can see him getting pole. He performs well at that track and Renault have very good aero package. I think Button could also grab pole. He destroyed JV there last year before his off and if the car is upto it he could do it, if a sudden gust of wind doesn't push him into the armco!!

i didn't see the same problem on trulli's car, so i hope the understeer on alonso's car was just a bad set-up call. it was quite pronounced in some of the tighter turns, and you wouldn't want to have understeer issues at monaco...

Well, understeer occurs when a driver attempts to turn into a corner and the car appears to be heading straight and is very hard to turn, thus a level of steer under the required amount. Oversteer is the total opposite, and occurs when a driver attempts to turn but the car turns too much into the corner and the rear of the car becomes loose, hope that helped!!

no problems there kiko, always glad to help. About the new Renault, both their drivers have said it's a lot quicker but less stable than last years car. I think this could have something to do with the new engine. Last year's engine was the wide angled version and helped the centre of gravity thus making the car very stable, now they have the regular angle engine, thus stability is worse, but the car is still pretty good. Any thoughts?
