Renault Starts

Recommended Posts

Renault have sort of been reported to use telemetary from the start LIGHTS in order to make such good starts !!

Geez what NEXT ?? A car that can READ the computer start light system and just drive itself away ??

Come on , this is NOT what F1 or any race formulae needs. I am all for the DRIVER having to do more then just push buttons.

Flying in the large Jets is like this, there really is no need for a Captain / co-Pilot as the aircraft can take off and land on it's own without outside interference. Is this what we WANT to see in Road Racing. ? for me NO.. NO..NO.. I want to see MORE driver input and LESS computer control..

Oh for the days when Jim Clarke etc were racing.. The GOOD old days :-)

that is bhe bigges load of wool (like from a sheep)that i have heard of. at every start the time is set different. the lights light up at the same thim at every race but when it comes to turning them off (GO GO GO GO GO) it is always different.

LMAO , it might not be too long before all the drivers have to do is sit in their cars and jack it up in the pits and run the race off their PS2 .

Imagine that , all the garages laplinked and Bernie walking round the garages making sure that no one has their PS2 box Chipped .

 I think this is just a diffrent version of the same rumour thats been making the round for the last 2-3yrs. I believe it started with this one---on the grid there is an embeded sensor to detect a false/jump start and as the signal is sent to the lights to turn green a signal is removed from the grid sensor and they were rumoured to have a way of detecting this launching at the same time regardless of driver input, thus making the race control in charge of their lighting starts. Truth?-Bollocks? you decide 8) Not that this has anything to do with F1, there is a real active rc flying club a few miles north and last weekend they had a scale jet show--WOW!-- these guys are good and the planes awsome A-4's F-14's-15's-16's a Concorde-Mirage-Mig-15-Mig-29's 6hrs. worth of flying and only 2 crashes. and I'm working on getting that 1/5 scale car 8)

you seen the screenshots for GT4? It kills GT3. Plus more cars and tracks, but it wont be out until later this year, but GT3 is still the best game on PS2, or at least one of the best.

They are impressive in the morning before the overcast burned off one guys F-14 even had mock afterburners and against the grey sky they looked real, he could only run them for 12-15 sec. but impressive non-the less. I'm buying a used ductedfan motor for a new unlimeted-hydroplane that OI hope to have done byAug.

I dont have PS2 !!!

Have an Xbox, but in racing games (PC) I have raced in every GPX game since Grand prix to Grand Prix 4, that makes me a 11 year racer!

Does PS2 have a "live" option like Xbox?, the oportunity of playing live with gamers around the world besides the capacity of real time chatting is terrific !

But I haven

Great Sato !!!!

I clearly remember the first time I played GP, like getting in a new world, the sensation of speed, the pits, real laps races, the rain, the yellow flags, everything was a new and fresh sensations, remember playing with a joystick to turn and change gears, with the A and the Z keys in the keyboard to accelerate and brake, Remember the long waiting for the next saga of GP, the big jump with GP2, GP3 and GP4, now I have a Force Feedback microsoft wheel and even put my motorcyle

that's cos i wasn't driving it ;-) i like it cos it's so smooth to drive.

but for serious pace, any of the top line jap manufacturer cars are great, and i don't think you'd come close in the camaro.. :P

the mazda's s##t-hot. i think its a twin-rotor?? but for outright power and speed i like the nissan the best. :D

hay do any of you guys have one of the F1 cars thay you can win. what are thay like.

the f1 cars are absolutely amazing! in a world of their own. the yellow one makes me feel like i'm driving a 97 jordan!
