Mikey babe had problems with Webber

Recommended Posts

um so tell me like what problems did M.S. have ? Sure he and webber got close at the first coner AFTER webbers pit stop, BUT M.S. was about to LAP webber, so to me there is not a problem , M.S. just backs off a tinnie winnie bit and then Webber will get the blue flags to allow "El Supremo" past !!! albsolutely no big deal in my mind but M.S. makes a big point of it in the race ending discussions !!

I am starting to think that Michael, the allmightly , would love to race on the track " ON HIS OWN' just to show how very GREAT he is.. this guy has a mental problem , at least to me it appears that way. If he was a car salesman I sure would not buy a car from him :D

i wouldn't buy a car off bernie tho, that's for sure..

about that incident i didn't see it that clearly, but it does appear webbo got in his way, but michael said something about webber coming back at him later on. i didn't see that. there isn't much point in having a go at the race leader except to send a little message, so i don't know why webber did that, if he did. maybe schuey's playing hardball in the gpda :P

and they used to be such good buddies

yeah Taku I think it is Shumi's way of saying " don't mess with me I am GOD "

I will always remember Sir Jack Brabham saying way long time ago, " you win at the slowest speed " and well M.S. was LAPPING Webber so where's the big deal ??????

8) MS didn't bring it up his was a direct ans. to the q. I think his beef is that if he had not deviated from his line then Webber would have taken them both out and for what gain? I don;t think any bad blood will come of this,he could have pulled a Senna and popped him one (Senna-Irvine)!

true Pumpdoc, but as has been stated MANY times before, seeing another car out the side of these cars is almost impossible, so I would have thought M.S. would take evasive action BEFORE getting alongside Webber as he could See him !

well yes if M$ did not take another line then thay whould of tuched but the man who was in frount of webber both on the track and on the score bord was only somthing like 2 or 3 secs infrount of Webber at the time. so why does not M$ dull that d#ck pole out of his a## and well let webber go. its not like 2nd place was any were near him so i think that M$ is just trying to "GOD" (as you guys have said befour) and try to put every one down.

what a douche, the same thing happened when panis came out and he didn't complain about that one. I still remember mr perfection coming out infront of webber in the pits in france i thik it was 03 and webber couldn't stop kos it was only a few metres awaya dn wet and they hit. maybe if webber did see him it was payback

Don't forget Montreal '98, when coming out of the pits, M$ simply drove into HHF and took him out, claiming he didn't see him. coughs "bulls##t" coughs.

8) You know Rod brings out a good point and then the gallery starts in with the usual MS bash this is getting old! If some other teams would step it upalong with BAR and Renault and smack down Ferrari then all your lap dog put downs would have some merit to discuss but untill that happens, tough. I'd love nothing more than to see MS get some competion out there. For all of you that say you would like to see someone in the 2nd Ferrari that would give MS a fight and that RB is just MS's bitch name another driver on the grid that is better-has more wins/points etc. other than DC that can show consistancey etc. then I'll spar with you. Results are results and in F1 that is what in the end matters.

People love the underdog and hate the top dog, Ferrari went 20 yrs as chump now that they are champ they are the bad guys, maybe with the shake up at Willams and hopefully at McLaren we'll see some compition.

yea that was GOLD Webber went off at Ferrari. and that same weekend Minardi went fastest in the pre-quli, quli sesion(or friday Quli). and Ferrari only got fined somthinf like $15000 for it.

simple, Villeneuve. Bernie wants it, a hell of a lot of F1 fans want it, but Michael doesn't. Michael has had it lucky that JV has been in a sh!t car, albeit JV's decision to leave Williams, but in their last battle, Villeneuve won. Ferrari were interested, Michael told them to resign Rubens. JV has more wins, but points wise RB is ahead purely as he had the best car whilst JV a BAR for the past 4 years. Patrick Head himself claimed that although Mika took 2 titles, he thinks the drive M$ fears most is Jacques, and it's true, why else would he veto him from Ferrari. And as for your sig, that's because those team allowed their drivers to race and have equal status, that's why noone bitched. Let the sparring begin!! 8)

...because those team allowed their drivers to race and have equal status, that's why noone bitched. Let the sparring begin!!  8)

In fact...I have never liked the domination of a single team (now is the domination of a single car) in the series, thats the reason why I hated Senna winning with a lap to every other racer in his time although there was Prost fighting with him, everybody knew that both of them hated each other, but there were other times...

Because of the spirit of F1(and because there are no limits in budget), always will be differences between teams, and always will be the dominant one, maybe some years one, maybe another but if you try to find equality you wont find it.

I am not asking for equality in budgets or in the technology development as in other series you can find (like the ones when all the teams run the same chassis and engines) because the F1 wont be F1...

Its hard to blem Schumacher to be a great driver in the best F1 team at this moment...an unique combination of perfect time and place...lucky driver...other great drivers (even better drivers than Schumacher) hasnt had the same luck as he, along all the F1 history...

well...I hope all of you understand my point...

greetings from mexico city

well to be honest i liked it when MClaren was winning but thats manly because i was very very young and the car at the frount was kool. but i dont like Ferrari now because of the way thay win and also just the hole way thay work.

I have no problems with domination. If teams work hard, they deserve success, no matter how much. We got some of the best racing ever when Prost and Senna were paired at McLaren as they both wanted to win and knew they had the best car and were class drivers. We had some brilliant races. As for what's happening now, Ferrari and Michael worked their balls off to get where they are and we shouldnt begrudge them of their success, however it would help things if a driver worthy of such a car was placed in the second seat.

correction there nojvnof1

I think Rubens is a very equal and dedicated driver, at least as good as the rest of them, it's just the TEAM he is with, or more importantly his TEAM mate that makes him look bad, coupled with the TEAM that he works for/with..

Ferrari appear to have this mentality that Michael will win, or at least beat Rubens , so to that extent all attention appears to be focused on Michael whith regards pit stops etc etc etc. IF / when Michael has a bad day all focus seems to be on Rubens ??? Not what I would call a TEAM effort.

But it appers that Rubens is happy to take the MONEY and just play SECOND FIDDLE , hardly a dedicated racing driver as I know them

correction there rodders  ,

the fact Rubens signed the lapdog contract shows he wasn't serious about winning and was there for the $$$. He knows he wont be allowed to win if M$ is close enough behind, thus he got himself into the position he's in himself. There are others who, given equal status with Michael would give him a much better run for his money.

hi nojvnof1

yep I agree mate no probs, but I do think Rubens is a much better driver then he currently shows.. I sure would hate to sign a contract as a "LAP DOG" to anyone, even M/S, regardless of money, if I had the talent

you're right there rodders, he is a good driver and definitely deserves his spot in the sport. I feel that the combination of him being Michaels teammate, not being allowed to race, plus this years car which really doesn't suit him has got to Rubens and he's now in freefall.
