He'll win....he's allowed to this weekend :wink: RB has always done well at Monza, and should lead home a Ferrari 1-2. JPM,and Alonso look strong, as do BAR to an extent. Anyone see the incident between Pantano and Zsolt in practice?? Very very strange, similar to Button/Zsolt incident at Spa.

i hope there's a bit of mayhem at retifillo (turns 1 & 2), where 20 cars hould be backing off from about 300km/h down to chicane speed. should be interesting... here's hoping alonso slinghots 'em all, monty and the 2 red cars go backwards, and the 2 bar's sneak through the red and blue sandwich with one of them playing back the field up allowing the other (preferabley sato) to go out and chase alonso untll either his tyres, or suspendion fails.

this shall lead to bar's first f1 victory with honda power ruling almighty over the land of f1.

most likely tho m$ will find a way psat them in the pitsops tho..

what positions do you think the danger area is for retifillo? i think the top 6 should be pretty safe, provided monty and sato behave themselves.

i just downloaded the practise crash, pantano went flying into him into the first corner.

looked like pantano braked lost control went sideways along the grass on the inside and collected the minardi at a high pace!

8) Only 20 min to start and the track is drying and the sun is trying to come out, It looked like RBH had wets on during his recon lap. Also with the rain it means that the dirty side of the grid--isn't. I see a 1st corner dust up coming and it's not going to be pretty, it also looks like the grid and front straite on the drivers right is still damp which will make it harder for Monty and Alonso to get off the line.............................well switching to live timming see you after the race.........enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if there is one ferari win tht i cant complain about then it has to be this one... they had it against them from the start and what a drive by MS and in the end they ended up 1-2 .... how good can they get???? ... my beloved Mclaren sadly now seem to be like a one race wonder ... merc has to improve or we might not see another non ferrari win this year......

btw congrats to BAR for goin up to 2nd... great drives by both button and sato........

Well Rubens has a brilliant drive to win, MS comes back from a mistake to finish 2nd, Button solid drive to finish ahead of Sato and it looks like the new tourque system didn't hurt them, Alonso got a raw deal they should have pushed him on track! But an exciting race non the less.

Didn't watch the whole race, but was very surprised to hear of Ferrari1-2. When I went to sleep, Rubens was trying to get a lead over Jense and I thought Jense had it in the bad, but hey, I got the top 3 right in the PPP, so whooohooo ehehehe, one of the rare occasions Im happy with a Ferrari 1-2 :wink: Well done to the team and its drivers, they really really showed their class. Jarno really struggled, but then did the fastest T1 in last few laps, showing what he could have done if he really wanted to, sort of a F$%K you to Flav probably. All in all, a good race, pity the marshals didn't push Alonso out of the gravel, apparently it was similar to M$ at the Ring last year. I wonder what they would have done if it were Schumi......

Rubens did a great job squeezing in that last stop, and MS's drive was like his in Belgium in 95. Pumpdoc might share a good memory here, remember Bob Varsha talking about the 1988 Monza race that happened after Enzo died? Well, it was a great 1-2 then and a great 1-2 now.
