I know I'm in a minority but I think Ralf & Trulli are both brilliant drivers

decent maybe not brilliant no way. You said yourself that there was no way Ralf can win a Championship or get close changed your mind have you?

They both have great potential but are far too inconsistent and have temperament problems. Ralf also parks his car when it

Hear Hear...I don't know why Toyota didn't go for DC. He's just what they need: motivated and consistent and would surely improve the car more than Ralf at least. He's also cheaper but then money isn't an issue for Toyota. However most of the improvement at Toyota is going to come from the car at first so their priority should still be to improve that then get expensive drivers (who might qualify better, but hopefully not from this season!).

Are you kidding, DC is on a consistantly factor at the same level as RS and JT.

DC's qualifying is inconsistent but he's consistently motivated and in the races always goes well. I think Toyota would be better with one of JT or Ralf and DC who they know will always be working away improving the car, which is the most important thing for them now. DC isn't quite in the Ralf/JT league of inconsistency: I can't imagine him winning a race then not scoring points for many races or giving up midrace. That's exactly what Toyota don't want - spending a lot on someone who's going to park the car instead of working with it.

has greater experience, technical know-how, mental strength and motivation than both J.T and Ralf.  DC is also much better at overtaking, and has shown this numerous times against Michael Schumacher, and defensive driving. Quite simply, DC was Toyota’s best option.

well that was why Red Bull grabbed him :)

...he gives 100% commitment in every race ....  DC is also much better at overtaking, and has shown this numerous times against Michael Schumacher, and defensive driving.

I never questioned DC's commitment, just his consistancy.

And you use the term 'numerous times', I think you give DC too much credit, 'more than once' would portray, I feel, a more accurate picture.
