David Coulthard puts Red Bull ahead.

Will this be a good or bad year for this new F1 team??

I don't know, I think they will gain a few points, but thats about it to be honest, i'm not expecting a lot till 2006 and beyond!

You cant read anything into that (top of testing). They are still running in 2004 regs, plus so many new teams come out early in testing and top the test sheets so that they create interest for there sponsors and their potential fans. Stewart did it, Bar did, even minardi have ran light and topped the test times on occasions. We will find out on Saturday 5th of March how good Red Bull will be. Lets hope they are up there fighting with the Saubers, Toyotas etc

I don't think they'll do any good, it will take them a couple of years to start performing decently.

i think they'll manage 8th in the wcc. they'll be doing a good job if jordan and minardi do not threaten them. anything better will be a bonus. remember this is a team that just sacked it's md, principal and technical director.

Bringing in christian horner just makes no sense to me, it seems like the only reason is that he fits red bull's image, so what if he does? can he run an f1 team?!! DC is a hell of a lot better than webber ever will be, in my opinion, so I expect better than 2003/2004, but getting in the points will be tough as nearly every team is expected to improve a lot this year.

Yeh i agree, i am doubtful that they will finish the year better to 2004, a few points i think is all they will manage

I think this will be avery interesting year for Red Bull. It will be their first time out there, but they will have the experience of Coulthard behind them, and I have always thought that Coulthard would excell if only someone were to treat him like a number 1 driver instead of always being treated like a back-up for the main driver. With Red Bull relying on him so heavily for his input, maybe they will give him that support he needs. :D
