More gearbox (and engine issues) hamper McLaren

The gearbox IS produced by McLaren,
so in turn NOT a Honda Issue.
Ron setup Mclaren Automotive which, supplies gearboxes !!

This then IS, a Mclaren Issue - NOT Honda

4 September 2017   7:19 (CEST) - VIP visitor from Honda Japan must have been left "impressed" from what he had witnessed on the weekend.

Indeed
Honda are BETTER than Renault
With MORE long term  potential
Why would McLaren drop Honda NOW
After YEARS of pain - to ALLOW another team  to benefit

4 September 2017   20:08 (CEST) - Reportedly it was Alonso who has issued to McLaren ultimatum; "It's me (and Renault in 2018), or Honda (and without me)". It seems that Brown consequently decided with shareholders to keep Alonso, and severe under duress ties with Honda, which includes hefty amount of cash as well. Makes sense? Not to me, but then I am not running that joint.

Battle between reason and passion is one of fundamental struggles in human affairs. (Beschloss or Meacham, not sure right now). How fitting in this case.

Alonso is NOT worth, to McLaren
The drop in, Honda revenue
STILL have to pay Alonso £30+ Million a year - WITHOUT Honda Money

Alonso is the culprit of it all. He's TOXIC

So is the BIG question is
Is Alonso WORTH the drop in income ??
Honda money PAY`s Alonso
The Honda PU IS improving - NOT a challenge were it!!
Alonso want`s away - things IMPROVE (proven history)
Obvious solution IS to STAY with Honda

Renault is NOT a proven race winner and, by their own admission, the timeline for Renault podiums will kick in after 2019. By then we will be one year away from the new engine formula and who knows what will happen then.
Honda WOULD be the BETTER option !!
