Former Ferrari star Eddie Irvine is considering setting up a brand new Formula 1 team after a failed bid to buy Minardi, according to this week

Irvine is a true f1 character, everyone knows him, many in f1 dislike him, it would be great if he was to start a team, new teams in f1 are always a good thing! I think he'd have to wait til 2008 though, when costs should be a lot less

Irvine is now a successful businessman and he is of course very familiar with F1 so he has a good pedigree but that does not mean that he will be a success story of course. Starting a completely new team would be a difficult challenge!
