Just on Michael taking long winter breaks, didn't Senna, when he was at McLaren, used to take a long holiday in Brazil in the off season leaving Prost to do all the testing, then return in January? I'm not for one minute knocking Michael or Ayrton for taking an extended break, but some people need more time to recharge and hence be at their best for the racing season and not for winter testing.
