Oh dear. This is worrying and disappointing. Having said that we know the cornering and breaking performance is what makes F1 difficult and I doubt that will fall to "Champ" Cars' level.

There is another driver tested Champ Car within few weeks after F1 tets drive. katherine Legge.

Eventhough she did not compare, she narrates her experience as

It has been a busy month for 2005 Champ Car Atlantic BBS "Rising Star" Katherine Legge as the Briton has tested three different open wheel cars in the last couple of months. Today, she made her Bridgestone Presents the Champ Car World Series Powered by Ford debut with Rocketsports Racing at Sebring.

Legge strapped into the 750hp Rocketsports Champ Car just after the lunch break and ran nearly 70 laps before the 1.65-mile track closed posting a best time 53.2 seconds. Today's test was just a shakedown run for Legge who will return to Sebring for a more comprehensive test on December 20 with PKV Racing.

Legge joined six other drivers on track with Richard Lyons also running for Rocketsports. PKV Racing had Ryan Dalziel and Giorgio Pantano running, while Mi-Jack Conquest Racing tested 2005 Champ Car Atlantic Champion Charles Zwolsman, Alx Danielsson and Dan Clarke.

"Today's test was very enjoyable," said Legge. "I think it's a big advantage for me. Today's test wasn't about lap times, it was about getting to know the car and the track. It was incredibly valuable for me. Next week will be more about lap times. I'm very grateful to Paul Gentilozzi and the whole Rocketsports team for the opportunity, it has been a pleasure working with them."

Here is her comparison.

Asked whether she could compare the three top-flight single-seaters she has now sampled in recent weeks, Legge admitted that there was little to link them except for the purpose for which they were created.

"I thought I'd be able to compare each of the three, and give some honest feedback on them, but they're all so different," she admitted, "It's really difficult to explain to someone who's not driven the cars, as they're all race cars and they all do the same thing - just in different ways.

"The F1 car was so light and nimble, it revved so highly and was so quick, and the carbon brakes were phenomenal. This car is just so heavy - it was absolutely brutal, and you really had to manhandle it around and be aggressive with it. On cold tyres, it was just incredible."
