I disagree with that. I believe he entered partly on merit, and partly as a result of Honda as he was the British F3 champion in 2001 prior to his debut with Jordan in 2002.

His talent did not and does not warrant a drive at BAR. I would say the same about Jordan, and there we shall no doubt disagree, but surely you agree with me that Takuma

have u forgotten that he was british f3 champion, setting a record for teh number of race wins in a season?? hindsight's great isn't it ben... he has been somewhat of a disappointment after showing such promise in f3 and in flashes in 02 & 04, but to say he never should have been allowed to enter f1 is simply not fair. whether he should be allowed to stay in f1 is another matter and although i would still disagree, the argument at least has some merit.

but back to the point, what more can one do than be champion in the lower formulae? that's like saying nico rosberg doesn't deserve to be given a chance in f1.
