At Last..at Last Ferrari Signed The Testing Agreement

Recommended Posts

According to reports, Ferrari has finally signed an agreement to limit testing. The agreement between the Scuderia, Honda, Renault, McLaren and Williams is to limit the days of testing by these five teams to a total of 36 days.

:clap3:

This comes after the backlash Ferrari received for not signing a testing agreement last year which would have reduced the number of days allowed for testing to 30. That agreement had the aproval of all nine other teams at the time, and it is likely that this new agreement will have the support of all eleven teams soon.

Right, so last year Honda tested 30 days, Ferrari tested 72. However in terms of kilometres they tested only 14.5% more than Honda. Which is covered by the increase from 30 days to 36. The agreement is a joke, still whatever keeps the rabid press happy.

Considering how much fire Ferrari got for not being in the contract last year i would say this thread has way too few answers.

Well if you think about it Ferrari must sign the agreement, cos the excuse they've used all along is "we're the only top bridgestone team" but now there are other top bridgestone teams

hit the nail on the head there mate! They don't need to test more than the others. If they did what Honda does and do as much as possible in the time they are given then thats not too bad.

About time to. It did not make them any better last season. I wonder if they would have been worse if they had less testing

so when Merc and Williams were the top teams in the 80's and 90's they didnt. thats a joke.

all the teams only follow gentelmens agreaments when it suits them. im sorry but if the otherteams say that they will only test for 30 days its their fault they are shooing themselves in both feet, not ferrari's
