Again i disagree. Red bull have a very good techniqual team including Adrian Newey. Alot of drivers would jump at the chance to drive one of his cars.

Not you too. We have discussed this many times. Briator offered Webber a Renault contract but instead Webber decided to drive for Williams. It was a poor decision in hindsight but the fact remains that Renault did offer him a race drive.

A very unclassy comment, but it doesn't surprise me.

Unclassy was the interview Webber gave to Australian TV, after he decided to leave, but before he made it public, criticizing them. Sorry, he is hardly the martyr he paints himself to be. Look at Nick Heidfeld, look where Sauber was a while ago.

Still he was faster than Fisi with his fuel flap stuck open when they could arguably be the 'B' team, so I guess all this does is highlight Fisi's crappiness.

'B' team? I thought Newey was like the best designer on earth and everything, and Renault are fair to everyone unlike Ferrari and give the same engines. And then we get the 'B' team excuse again. Red Bull are a B team in the sense that they have crap management, wrong priorities and a driver who is quick but selfish, and one who is past it (one sparrow, summer etc.). They are well financed though. And they are cheats.

Nick Heidfeld for me, and its nice to see him finally getting recognition.

Massa proved me wrong and showed that he can get the job done.

What the hell was wrong with Alonso today?

All a load of rubbish. I'll leave someone else to pick the obvious flaws of your post.

A driver that is so selfish, that when he has a fuel flap problem, he lets DC right through, only thinking about himself huh? Yeah bloody right.

Fisi was crap today and to cover it up you try to belittle others, not exactly a brilliant quality is it?

You claim Webber is unclassy, but your comments are too, but I don't see you belittling yourself...

It's so much bulls##t I can't believe it - he paints himself to be a saint? No he doesn't, you read his comments and he's quick to criticise himself, even for qualifying he said he felt he could get more out of the car. Edit: Infact thinking back to an interview, he said that he felt sorry for the Williams guy for working with him during a disgruntled period.

Perhaps you should talk to people who are involved with his charity work and ask if he's a selfish gold digger. Comments like that are inexcusable and say more about you then the driver you are talking about. :thbdn:

Ahuh... That is all to do with BMW money right there.

Indeed Renault are giving the same engines, but Red Bull surely are considered a 'b' team to the reigning world champs? I guess maybe that was just Alonso though, going on how hammered Fisi was the last 2 years. Still I'd place Reno higher then Red Bull so far, and the standings confirm this.

And they are cheats.

I don't know where the hell you pulled that out of, but weren't they talking about Reno cheating before the race...?

He was probably ordered to. Hardly relevant though, DC would have gone past anyway.

Huh? It is you who brought up Fisi, I didn't even mention him. Sure, I think he should have finished 7th, but he still finished ahead of his much fancied teammate - that's hardly 'crap', is it?

I don't work for an F1 team, I don't see what you are getting at.

I don't give about charity work done by any big money sportsperson. They earn more than any human being should, what they do for charity is a miniscule fraction of that.

I am sorry, but there is too much 'poor Webber' going on than he ever deserves. He's made his own bed.

Again the digs at Fisi?? I don't even care about Fisi right now. Remember I am a Ferrari fan first and foremost, I am positively delighted :D

Red Bull are cheating with customer cars.

A-ha. It seems you are the money obsessed one. I'm not talking about money. Webber donates his time and energy to causes rather than a cheque through the post. It's very relevant you called him a selfish driver, I showed evidence to contradict this, all you have is your 'opinion' of a driver. I'll stick to the facts thanks and I'd never go to such lengths to belittle a person's charactor whom I know very little about. To me, that's sad and very low and this is where your post meets your own status. You have made your bed and now you can lie in it, I thought perhaps you'd changed, gave you a chance, but no, you still have this urge to make such disgusting, unprovoked comments. You can continue on of course, but I've lost interest as you have no substance to your posts.

Lewis gets my vote again. He drove brilliantly, whereas Alonso had no chance to perform due to some rather evil handling, Raikkonen was also average, and massa pretty much did what the car should do. I do not think that Nick would have on Alonso's pace if his car was handling well. Definately a creditable result, but Lewis gets my vote.

Time and energy? I will accept that when I find out that he spent a few dayd of his time actually helping people (instead of doing something fun, that happens to raise money for something), away from the media spotlight. You've got your role models wrong, if you look up to people who earn millions of dollars and are happy to do so.

Who wouldn't be happy to earn millions? I sure know I'd be pretty damn pleased to.

I voted LH he is doing great every race.

NH took advantage of a poor performance from Alonso but anyway that was a good pass when he took FA so i chose Lh because of the experience difference between them.

Would you expect to be held up as a role model for everyone though, would you claim the high moral ground, by donating a miniscule fraction of that money to charity, or by taking part in some event that just happens to be raising money for charity?

I gather you didnt see the Mark Webber Challenge. Webber spent the last couple of days of the event in a large amount of pain in his knee but yet he continued through the event. The Mark Webber Challenge was a extremely tough event and event with even some great athletes having alot of problems with the length of the event.

Mark setup the event, not just taking part in it.......

Anyone who is in the top level of their sport should ALWAYS expect to be held up as a role model to many, or few... It doesn't matter. Although I haven't seen anyone call Mark a role model... Except you.

I don't see why people are so giddy about LH. Yes, he is a good driver but He is in one of the top 2 teams this year. Had Senna been in the MP4/2 in 84 or Prost in the FW07 in 80 or MS in the MP4/6 in 90 then nobody would be talking about how good LH is doing.

Really? Bloody beatify him already then. And he raced with a sore bum, that is two miracles. Make him a bloody saint already. Call me when he does some real charity work, not a bloody jaunt through some of the most wonderful places in the world. I'd love to do the same. Would you pay for it, and pay for curing some little kiddies with cancer at the same time, so I can have the time of my life, and feel good about it?

They should reject the status, or live up to it. Most do neither. And people should know better frankly, than giving them the status they have.

Trust me. You wouldnt want to do it. Some of the fittest athletes in Australia were in the event and even they struggled.

Obviously, I would get the best trainers in the world to prepare me, paid for by someone else, right? I'd love to :D

Tasmania is beautiful, right? Or are all those pictures fake? :(

I must ask Cav, how much charity work do you do? I mean you see it fit to make fun of Mark's, so just how much do you do.. How many events have you setup?

More than Mark Webber actually, but I am not going into personal details here, so you can take my word if you want, or not. Either way I don't care.

I wouldn't imagine that someone with a personality like Cavallino's wouldn't do anything for anyone that isn't himself.
