Please...Feel for me..................

Recommended Posts

Okay...This isn't a pity story....Just a story.

At Albert Park today I vaugely heard the call...Rubens Barrichello signing autographs in 5mins....!!! I bolted at full speed to the Autograph stand to "try" and get the autograph....

Anyway, Rubens appears after waiting in line for about an hour. He signs autogaphs and dissapears, just before he dissapears he casually mentions....Another man in Red will be here to sign autographs at 4pm....Another 1-1.30mins away.......

So I wait in line for about 2 hours to get the most prized autograph in modern racing, not even knowing if the man in Red will be Schumacher. Then a man walks on stage, and confirms the news.....ITS SCHUMACHER....

Theres about 50 people in front of me, I always knew that it was an outside chance to get it. THEN..........an offical comes over and points to the 3rd person behind me. Your the last one to get an autograph...OH! WHAT! I'm going to get Schumi's autograph!!!

Anyway....Schumi appears, starts signing and talking, I ended up about 6 people short, Schumacher seemed happy to sign away, these two Australian GP officals pulled the pin (of course they might have a reason......they better have)........

None the less......I'm very dissapointed.

To the bloke speaking to MS....Thank You for slowing down the autographing!

To the Offical who ended the season, YOUR A MEGA TOOL!!!!!!!!!

Dissapointed.

Andrew

Look Mate, the obvious thing to do is head down to the Sauber garage.

Nobody is ever interested in Sauber so there will be no queue.

Get as many signatures as you can and

1) You will have got signatures from half the people on Ferrari's payroll

2) Got the signature of Ferrari drivers .. BEFORE .. they went to Ferrari

3) Pick up some genuinely rare signatures such as Peter Saubers.. this is a particularly diificuly signature to get as most of the time he doesnt know his own name.. never mind know how to write it.

Juan, thanks we are all looking forwar to St Particks day celebrations ..

All .... Just to confirm my jest about picking up Ferrari signatures about Sauber, did you hear that PS said today that Luca Badoer could be driving a third 'Sauber' on Friday mornings to help with the race set up for his team 'Sauber'.

So definitely if you wanna get Ferrari signatures esp. drivers on a race weekend stop by the 'blue' Ferrari tent.

BTW .. good to hear you got the Jag signatures .. Webbers could be worth something shortly ...

How are you juany .

Im very new to this forum and maybee you have answered this maybee you havnt .

My Fav team is obviously Mclaren ( hence the user name ) and favourite driver is Montoya and let me tell you that when it was confirmed that Montoya was with Mclaren i was pretty overwhelmed . What are your thoughts on him going to Mercedes .

PeakRPM , i am sorry to change the subject on you and i do know how you feel missing out by a whisker as i saw Coulthard virtually under the clocktower and pulled my 1:18 scale Boxed model for a sign and my friggin Texta wouldnt work ( bloody lid fell of in the bag over the morning ) so obviously he wasnt going to hang around as i allready took 10 second of his time trying to pull the car out of the bag so condolances to you . Only advice i can give is to hang around the tower cause as ive found from past years , allot of them actually do like to come out and have a look at life ( tower next to pits )

Anyway , this is my first post so be gentle .... lol

Hey there mcalren, welcome!

I am not sure abut Monty's switch to McLaren, I have never been able to get into their way of running things and McLaren always seems like a sterile, 'no fun' team, whereas Monty likes a laugh and doesnt like being told what he can and cant do.

I reckon there will be some fireworks in the partnership and if things dont go good straight away, I dont see him staying there long.

LOL. I went to the press conference on Thursday at Shell buildings and got Rubens autograph, but then so many ppl came for M$' one it was impossible, but I got bloody close, 3 damn times!!!, and he still wouldn't sign, maybe it was because I had my JV hat on, but still, many Ferrari fans didnt get one. One of them even yelled at him as he was walking off, "It must be true what they say, you must be a w#nker" Some have now seen the light!!! Nah seriously it would have been great to get his autograph, hey an F1 driver is an F1 driver. But to get in 3 good positions and have him not sign really p**sed me off. Anyways, s##t happens I guess, maybe next year.
