Mark Webber summs up what it means to be an Australian.

Tough, Honest, Loyal, Hard working, I LOVE him, His a true Aussie Battler at he will try his Hardest at whatever odds.

Like Alan Jones

Great post V12, I agree 110% with every word

Thanks V12! I reckon most of us Aussie members would have to agree this pic somes up Marks frank Aussie battler personality quite nicely. Congrats Webber! The worst 100 are behind you, here's to the better hundred to come! :clap3:

Once again I agree Jez

For those Aussies interested, Peter Windsor interviews Mark Webber about his F1 career on RPM this Saturday. Looks very interesting from the shorts I've seen.

I will be watching that interview for sure. The trailer that they played after the GP looked like it will be yet another no fuss talk the truth Mark interview, where your glued to every work because it's all 100% no Bullsh!t.

your deadset right.

But wasn't it great to see Mark putting that red Bull into the points at Spa in his 100th drive with another fighting drive. Flying past Kovalianen, and Keeping the faster Williams (as much as it hurts to say for marks sake) of Rosberg under pressure all afternoon. having said that how disappointing was Alex Wurz at Spa!

In Responding about the interview it would hurt any driver turning your back at a Team who was on the cusp of winning two titles.

how was he supposed to know especially in 2004 when in the second half of the year Renault went on that massive down hill slide that lost them second in the WCC to BAR.

But in any event he PROBALLY would have suffered the same fate that Giancarlo suffered with retirement after retirement

Having said that Mark probally could have won the 2005 Australian Grand prix and Maybe Fisichella's Career may still have been alive and MAYBE Mark's could have been staring down the barrell for 2008?

There the questions that I will diffenetely be askin God after I die cos its fasincating.

Its sortof reminds me of Jean Alesi (back in the year that I was born in actually 1990) when he had the decision to either stay at Tyrrell go to Williams or go to Ferrari?

And after the heroics that Alain Prost had in 1990 he decided to join his compatriot at ferrari for emotional reasons (Like Marks decision to go to Williams in 2005) and it turned out that Williams were on the cusp of glory.

Maybe Nigel May have never been champion and maybe Jean could have been in 1992?

another facinating question to ask God when I die.
