Quiet One

Kimi, You Cheater!

Recommended Posts

Not I understtand why Alonso's fans are complaining about Kimi's victory, this was his victory number 18 so he is only 2 wins away from Alonso, maybe some of you will say 3 but the one on Singapore doesn't count, Kimi already has more podiums that Alonso, and is only two points behind in the lifetime score.

The more notable thing here is that Alonso have been always trying as hard as he can (even cheating, I mean fixing races) but Kimi have done all of this just driving like when I am going to work, that I don't really want to get there, all this shows me how what a great driver Kimi is. :clap3:

I think the main point is that nobody in F1 complained about it but you see that when a driver cut a chicane, the closest driver call to complain about it, so Kimi did nothing wrong, he wasn't spying like mclaren did and he won without fixing his race, and Badoer didn't hit any wall to cause a safety car, he just won the race and that won't be taken away. :naughty:

I think you'll find that Kimi didn't complain at Spa last year.

I agree Kimi did nothing wrong.........he can't bollockng well tell the difference between the track and the run-off, but to be fair the red and white kerb stripes probably triggered a sub-conscious Smirnoff moment :whistling::lol:

That's the reason why he crashed, he was very bussy driving and looking for the button to talk on the radio.

Actually, I think you said it had nothing to do with Lewis gaining an advantage per se, but that he had used the run-off area, so was a breach of the rules. So in that sense it was exactly the same issue, really.

As I said earlier, I completely agree, make the run-offs gravel or grass and people will only use them when they have no other place to go.

So yes we completely agree. Put gravel there and there would be no debate. That was my position on Hamilton, and would be my position here as well except I am assuming that the drivers were told in the prerace meeting that going the long way around the corner on the parking lot would be considered fair, and that is why we haven't heard one complaint by the other teams.

Maybe we should try landmines, spikes and an aligator pool. To be completely sure drivers would no go there.

What do you want to watch - racing or carnage? Those areas are there for safety. It is safer to have asphalt than gravel (brakes on the car are effective on asphalt).

Maybe drivers with brain cells might be nice. Put gravel there and those with brain cells might actually exercise some caution, and realize that you don't have to win the race on the first corner. Make it painless and no consequence for foolish driving, and you end up with foolish drivers.

As vodka and Kimi expert, you should know that Kimi does not drink Smirnoff - ever.
