Chinese Grand Prix

Recommended Posts

all the supurlatives been laid on the track / organisers etc for a fabulous Grand Prix. WILL Jag be there? and what about Minardi/Jordan what engines will they run, worn out one's from previous races ?

Seems to me "FORD" maybe the worlds second largest car company has let F1 down at a crucial point or have I missed something ?

WOW 200,000 !!!

Can anyone tell me what a ticket is worth to the Chieese G/P ?

It sure does amase me that they can get that many people, even though they have a huge population, but I always thought most of the Chinese were poor people, seems not to be the case !!

China is definitely not poor... they have a massive population and they're not fully developed so it's natural that they have huge difference in terms of living standards in different areas. But Shanghai is one of the biggest city in the world (and still growing) and it alone has a population of 14 million and most of the people there are quite well off.

well off? You have to be more than well off to pay 2.000 us dollars for a F1 week end. It would be cheaper going to Monaco

apparently their average income is USD2,000, not the cost of the ticket.. above it says 45 - 450 USD pre ticket, i assume for a one day ticket depending on the category of seat.

either way, as well aknow as fans, f1 is not cheap. the stated price for china is not that different from the melbourne gp. i assume that these prices are similar to other gps around the world?...

neither did i. live timing said he spun on turn 1, driver error.

i think bernie pressed the activator button on the emergency invisible oil spray jet that he had herman tilke instal at turn 1 after the boring canadian and hungarian gps. thus guaranteeing an interesting race.

I gotta say I am amased on the performance of M.S. at China.

In a TV interview after the saturday spin he said that it maybe the car that caused it, but they could not find anything wrong , so in M.S. words it maybe the bit between the steering wheel and the fuel tank !!!!!

Maybe that same bit caused the spin during the race ???

Is M.S. starting to become "HUMAN " ???? :D:D:D

8) Well in my rage this morning at some peop[le on this forum I forgot why I logged on and that was to give the big thumbs up to Jenson and Kimi for the excelent drives they both had. Button had an right proper good go at the race and I think that if they gone with a 3 stopper he might have won. Kimi was allover Rubens like a dog waiting for just a bobble from Rubens. Rubens drove a perfect race which is what was needed to stay in front.Alonso,JPM,Sato and the 2 Sauber drivers,Fisi and Massa all drove solid races, give Sato the big come from behind that was expected from MS. Bar clearly came to the table and out ran the Renaults and BARing misfortune look good for 2nd inWCC.
