It would be good to have 7-8 teams funded at the 100 million pounds category rather than have the present situation with the vast difference in fundings.

Interesting bit about the 2 manufacturers, one is most certainly BMW, what about the other one? Toyota?

It's all about comprimise. I think most fans want to see costs cut, but not at the expense of F1 being the pinnacle of motor sports.

It will still be the pinnacle of motorsport, cos f1 has the best circuit drivers in the world, and is very global, with the hugest audience by far. I think its about time the FIA did this (that is, if they do anything) I'm very pleased. I wonder if the little French hamster-face Ferrari boss agrees

I dont care so much about costs cut (maybe just in the ticket for the race ), I just want the great F1 of 1989-1997 period.

Every day from the Thursday of the first race to the Sunday of the last race there should be no testing allowed, ban the test teams and let the race teams do the testing. The only way to save money on a formula one car is to not run it.

That is what I have been saying, the only testing allowed should be on the race weeks from thursday to sunday, and some regulated times in the breaks and off season.

I dont agree testing should be banned alltogether, but for the FIA to impose a restriction in the rules so Ferrari have to follow it. No testing is silly as the person who arrives in Oz with the best machine will have the best machine all seasona nd thus dominate. Thats my view anyway. Testing should not be banned! and I think the 30-day restriction is very fair!

Testing should not be banned, but should be extremely limited, so as to cut costs and allow smaller teams to stand more of a chance

oh and for the record, i have no problems with testing, They just need to reduce the running costs in F1! Thats all!

And the problem is ferrari won't ever agree to reduce testing. Westlife are the greatest band I've ever known - 13 number 1 singles, I've been to see them twice they're brilliant. Their new single is out 24th October, make sure you buy it! As for my wife, she's a sexy woman, I liked westlife long before I met her, and now she likes them too!
