Ferrari, BAR, Williams and Sauber are the big losers in comparison with last year. I think the whole pecking order could be rearranged once again come March 2006!

You've got to be happy with how your boy and RBR have gone though. He's basically rescued his career from the ashes and made a great career move in signing with RBR.

Im so glad he has proven his worth again. At the end of 2004 i was in constant battles with people on this forum who were saying that DC should retire as he is only going to get worse. Im just glad he proved them wrong. Im also glad Red Bull are doing well, they saved DC's career and they deserve my support for that.

I think it was. From what I heard the only offers he had (apart from the Jaguar one) were testing roles, Red Bull gave him a chance and he maximised it.

From rumors because of his amazig 2005 season, BAR offered him a drive but he decided to sign for Red Bull again. I hope the gamble pays off.

That's news to me. Was he approached in case Button left BAR or was he first preference ahead of Rubens for Sato's seat?

I found the article.

It was made June 16th 2005

BAR have reportedly opened talks with David Coulthard about the possibility of him driving for them in 2006.

With BAR more than likely to lose Jenson Button to Williams at the end of the season, the team is looking for a capable replacement and have targeted Coulthard.

most of those pts were scored by dc i somehow have a feeling that rbr would have scored the same no of pts as jaguar last year ,if they would have had ck and vl as their drivers .now understand why bernie was considering a musicalchair system at the end of 02 season :naughty:

It will be all change again next year no doubt! I for some reason dont see renault as being the title holders for the second year running!

you never know mate. Whilst I don't envisage them dominating like Ferrari, I think they, along with McLaren will be the one's to beat next year. Although having said that what with the new rules and regs it's anyone's guess as to who will be on top.

Indeed, its all change come next seson, and I dont see Ferrari as challengers again next year! Honda will be strong as will Mclaren and Renult but i dont see Renault winning the championships next year!

Next season will be between Renault & Mclaren again!!!

Honda will continue to be average with their average drivers and car.

Schumacher is fading fast(as we saw in China), and Ferrari are no longer the f1 pace setters! Toyota could be a dark horse though!

It just depends who gets it right with their designs. Big budget teams should do better cos they can test more but who knows! Its exciting but I just pray Honda do it best!
