Jv Reportedly Has The Worst Eyesight In F1!

Recommended Posts

he reckons he should have just punted Massa off and got some points instead of going in half heartedly because he was his teammate and worried about taking him off

JV's eyesight has nothing to do with his ability, he's not the only driver that wears contacts...

This is old, old, old news. Why whoever wrote this decided to make a story of this only a few days ago is beyond me.

but that wasn't through lack of vision or poor vision, that was poor judgement. Besides, JV describes the incident in full in the interview with F1 Racing, he reckons he should have just punted Massa off and got some points instead of going in half heartedly because he was his teammate and worried about taking him off

I'd like to think that weren't true but a more decisive move into Ste Devote could have come off. As I recall, JV left about a metre between himself and Massa, the same measure by which he was too far over the kerb.

What a menace. No wonder BMW want rid of him...
one incident and he's a menace, now I've seen it all!! The likes of Sato are menaces, not Jacques.

Anyways, to add further to what JV said, he said that the team told him to push, and Massa to slow down. The team knew Massa's tyres would be shot by 50 laps and JV's would be perfect condition. Massa opened the door, but closed it at the last minute, hence the contact.

no it's true. He said so in the interview in the October F1 Racing Magazine. JV had to go over the kerb to avoid Massa who he claimed opened the door, the shut it at the last minute, so JV had to try to avoid running him clean up the back.

DUH, thanks for the laugh... It's like saying you found your keys in the last place you looked.... of course you did, you would not keep looking after you found them :D

Well, I don't know, we might be living in a parallel universe or something, so I'll keep looking...
