BAR Honda confirmed on Thursday that it will be changing its name to 'Honda Racing F1 Team' for the 2006 season.

The team has been know as BAR since the 1999 season when British American Racing first entered the sport.

''The name has been selected to reflect Honda's rich and successful heritage in the sport,'' a team statement read.

The team car will be named the RA106 and its engine, the RA806E.

The Brackley based team will still be sponsored by cigarette company, Lucky Strike.

The smoking brand will 'continue to form the basis of the ... livery'.

The car colour will also change slightly with the team changing from BAR

they should just have been called Honda F1, keep it as normal as possible, no dodgy names for me!

why am i still awake at 2am? i really shouldnt drink coffee at night! In 8 hours im gonna be sitting in sociology learning about wealth! Oh the fun of it!

OMFG i didnt mention, MY TUTOR STILL HASNT SENT MY REFERNCE FOR UNI, and hes like one month late, UCAS emailed me saying they are yet to receive a reference and are urgently needing it to complete my application! If that prick costs me a place in either Keele or Leicester im going to bash his dirty smelly breathed face in. I hate him as it is, but now im gonna let rip when i see him later today and make my feelings very clear, and im going to report it to the college and tell them that its disgusting how he has had a whole ****ing month and still nothing! b#####d!
