I think Mario's summation is very fair on Jacques. JV needs a great year, no question about that. The motivation is there, as I believe is the talent. With a little luck, then you never know what can happen.

Shaping up to be a good year. The suggestion that an aging MS picked a youngster to dominate over is a little flawed. Massa has age on his side, and he has been driving for a number of years now. He might turn out to be quite the challenger. He makes very few mistakes, and only has a one year contract. He will be there to impress Ferrari and everybody else. I don't see him being a lapdog this year. If it was a multiyear deal maybe, but a one year deal means he will look after himself above all else.

Quite right Senna. I was amazed at first too but the novelty has now long worn off. The opposite is as likely: perhaps in his twilight years Michael felt he could no longer beat Rubinho with ease so they drafted in the more junior Brazilian?
